Theme Deactivation

Starting from Houzez v4.3.0, license activation and deactivation are managed through the new Favethemes Portal.

The portal allows you to connect your website, manage your license, receive automatic updates, and access the Houzez Studio template library — all in one place.

How to Deactivate your License

To deactivate your Houzez license from a website, please follow the steps below.

Step 1

Log in to your WordPress dashboard.

Step 2

Navigate to: Houzez → License

Step 3

Click the Deactivate button.

A confirmation window will appear explaining what will happen after deactivation.

Step 4

Click Deactivate License to confirm.

What Happens After Deactivation?

Deactivating the license will disconnect the website from your Favethemes account.

The following features will stop working immediately:

• Automatic theme and plugin updates
• One-click bundled plugin installation
• Houzez Studio template library access
• Demo import access

Your license will NOT be revoked.
You can reactivate it at any time from the same License page or connect it to another domain through the Favethemes Portal.
