Theme Activation

Starting from Houzez v4.3.0, license activation and updates are managed through the new Favethemes Portal.

The portal allows you to connect your website, manage your license, receive automatic updates, and access the Houzez Studio template library — all in one place.

Once connected, your Houzez theme and bundled plugins will update directly from your WordPress dashboard. No manual downloads or FTP uploads required.

One-Click Downloads
Access the latest Houzez version and bundled plugins anytime from the portal.

Houzez Studio Access
Active license holders get full access to the Houzez Studio template library directly inside WordPress.

Site Management
View all connected domains, monitor versions, and deactivate unused domains when necessary.
Staging and localhost environments do not consume activation slots.

Envato Integration
Simply connect your Envato account and your ThemeForest purchases will be detected automatically.
No need to manually copy and paste purchase codes.

How to Connect and Activate Your License

Step 1

Make sure you are running Houzez v4.3.0 or higher.

Step 2

In your WordPress dashboard, navigate to:

Houzez → License

Click Connect & Activate License

Step 3

Create an account or sign in using:

• Envato
• Google

Once connected, your site will be automatically verified and linked to your license.

That’s it — your website is now activated.

What Happens After Activation?

After successful activation:

• Automatic theme and plugin updates are enabled
• Houzez Studio becomes available
• Demo imports and advanced features are unlocked
• License management is handled directly through the portal

Troubleshooting

If you experience issues during activation:

1. Make sure you are using Houzez v4.3.0 or newer

2. Verify your Envato account is connected correctly

3. Ensure your domain is not already activated on another installation

If the issue persists, you can submit a verification request directly from the portal and our team will review it.
