This documentation guides you through importing locations (countries, states, cities, and areas) into your Houzez platform using a CSV file.
Prerequisites:
- Access to the Houzez admin panel.
- A CSV file containing your location data. Each row should represent a single location and include columns for the desired fields (e.g., country, state, city, area).
Steps:
-
Navigate to Import Locations:
- In the Houzez admin panel, go to the Houzez menu.
- Under the Houzez menu, find the Import Locations option and click on it.
-
Upload your CSV file:
- Click the "Choose File" button and select your prepared CSV file containing the location data.
- Ensure the file format is compatible (e.g., CSV).
-
Map CSV fields:
- The system will display a table previewing the first few rows of your CSV file.
- Below the preview, you'll find a section titled "Map CSV Fields".
- Use the dropdown menus within this section to match each column in your CSV file with the corresponding Houzez location fields.
- If you only want to import specific locations (e.g., cities), you can selectively map the corresponding field (e.g., cities) and leave others unmapped. This will only import data for the mapped fields.
-
Import the locations:
- Once you've finished mapping the fields, click the "Import" button.
- The system will process your CSV file and import the mapped location data into Houzez.
Additional Notes:
- Ensure your CSV file adheres to the expected format and includes the necessary columns for the locations you want to import.
- For further assistance, consult the support team.
I hope this documentation helps you with your location import!
