Houzez includes a built-in White Label feature that allows you to rebrand the theme for your agency or client. This feature is especially useful for developers and agencies who want to personalize the WordPress backend with their own branding or hide the original theme identity from clients.
Where to Find It
From your WordPress dashboard, go to:
Houzez → Theme Branding
Theme Branding
Customize the text-based identity of the theme:
- Theme Branding: Set a custom brand name. This will replace all mentions of "Houzez" in the admin interface.
- Theme Name: Enter a custom name for the theme as it appears under Appearance → Themes.
- Theme Author: Add your company or developer name.
- Author URL: Include a URL that will link from the author name.
- Theme Description: Write a short description of your custom theme (shown in the Themes panel).
Visual Branding
Replace Houzez visuals with your own:
- Theme Screenshot: Upload a custom image that will be shown in Appearance → Themes.
Recommended size: 880×660px - Admin Logo: Upload a logo that will appear in the WordPress admin header.
Recommended size: 167×34px
Advanced Settings
- Hide Themes Section in Customizer:
Enable this option to prevent users from switching themes via the WordPress Customizer. This is especially useful when delivering sites to clients who should not modify the underlying theme.
Reset Form
Click Reset Form to clear all branding fields and return to default Houzez values.
How White Labeling Works
At the bottom of the panel, you'll find a summary of the white labeling functionality:
- Theme Appearance – Customize how your theme appears in the WordPress admin (name, author, description).
- Admin Branding – Replace Houzez branding in the admin with your own logo and identity.
- Client Protection – Hide theme switching and offer a fully branded experience for clients.
✅ Tip: Use this section before handing over a website to a client, or to present Houzez as a proprietary solution tailored to your brand.
