Template Library Management

Houzez includes a Template Library Management panel that allows you to sync and manage all the design templates made available via studio.houzez.co. These templates are pre-built sections and layouts that you can use directly inside Elementor to accelerate your website design process.

How It Works

The system stores templates locally to ensure instant loading when accessed from Elementor. You can sync new templates at any time or clear your local storage to free up space or troubleshoot issues.

Accessing the Panel

From your WordPress dashboard, go to:
Houzez → Template Library

Key Stats Displayed

• Templates Available – Total number of design templates currently stored locally.
• Last Sync – Timestamp of your last successful synchronization.
• Storage Mode – Indicates whether templates are stored locally (default behavior).

Actions

Sync Templates

Click Start Sync to:

• Connect to studio.houzez.co
• Download and update the latest available template library
• Ensure that your Elementor editor has access to the newest sections, blocks, and layouts

This process does not overwrite your saved templates or layouts.

Clear Templates

Click Clear All to:

• Remove all templates currently stored locally
• Useful for resetting the library or troubleshooting display/preview issues

Performance Status

Below the main actions, you'll also find:

• Performance – Indicates loading speed (should say Optimized – Instant loading)
• API Calls – Indicates how many API requests are being made per sync (usually 0 during idle)

Best Practices

• Keep your library in sync regularly to access the latest design resources.
• Use the Clear Templates option only if you encounter issues with template previews or syncing.
• You can access the templates directly within Elementor when adding new sections or pages.
