In Houzez, agencies represent the real estate companies showcased on your website. Each agency has its own public profile page that can include company details, logo and branding, contact information, office address, social media links, a description of services, and the list of agents and properties associated with the agency.
Agencies are also a user role in Houzez with capabilities designed for team management. When a user is assigned the Agency role, they can:
- Manage profile – Edit company information, branding, and contact details.
- Save searches – Store property search criteria for quick access.
- Save favorites – Bookmark properties for later review.
- Messages – Communicate with leads through the built-in messaging system.
- Check invoices – View payments and billing records tied to the account.
- Manage listings – Add, edit, or delete properties published under the agency.
- Add agents – Create and manage agent accounts that belong to the agency.
- Assign listings to agents – Route properties to one or more agents on the team.
Compared to the Agent role, agencies have additional permissions to create/managing agents and assign listings to them, acting as the umbrella account for a multi‑agent team.
Agencies also have access to a dedicated login area (dashboard) where they can manage:
- The agency profile (logo, description, address, contacts)
- All agency listings
- Agents on the team (add, edit, or remove)
- Leads and inquiries received through the website
- Saved searches and favorites
- And more
Agency profiles serve multiple purposes:
- Showcasing your company – Present your brand, offices, services, and team members in one place.
- Centralizing team management – Keep agents, listings, and lead routing under a single account.
- Improving lead distribution – Assign listings to specific agents to control who receives inquiries.
- Building trust – A complete, branded agency profile increases credibility with potential clients.
Whether you manage a boutique brokerage or a large multi‑office company, keeping agency profiles complete and up to date is essential for a professional presentation and efficient team operations.
