Houzez is provided with six custom user roles which you can enable, disable, rename, and configure based on your needs. This flexibility allows you to adapt the platform to different business models — whether you're running a single-agent site, a multi-agent agency, or a full property marketplace.
Available User Roles
By default, Houzez includes the following roles:
- Agent – Can manage their own profile, create and manage property listings, receive and respond to inquiries.
- Agency – Similar to agents but can also manage multiple agent accounts within their agency.
- Owner – Property owners who can add and manage their own listings.
- Buyer – Can save searches, mark favorites, and send inquiries.
- Seller – Can list and manage properties for sale.
