In Houzez, agents are the real estate professionals whose profiles are displayed on your website. Each agent profile can include personal information, contact details, areas of expertise, social media links, and property listings they manage.
Agents are also a user role in Houzez with specific capabilities. When a user is assigned the Agent role, they can:
- Manage profile – Edit their personal and professional information.
- Save searches – Store property search criteria for quick access.
- Save favorites – Bookmark properties they are interested in.
- Messages – Communicate with clients through the built-in messaging system.
- Check invoices – View payment records and invoices related to their account.
- Manage listings – Add, edit, or delete their own property listings.
Unlike the Agency role, agents cannot add other agents or assign listings to other agents — these permissions are reserved for agency accounts.
Agents also have access to their own login area (dashboard), where they can manage:
- Their profile information
- All their property listings
- Leads and inquiries received through the site
- Saved searches and favorites
- Messages and communication with clients
Agent profiles serve multiple purposes:
- Showcasing your team – Visitors can learn more about each agent's background, skills, and specialties.
- Improving lead generation – Each profile includes a contact form so clients can reach the agent directly.
- Organizing listings – Properties can be assigned to specific agents, allowing users to filter search results by agent.
- Building trust – Verified agent badges and detailed profiles help build credibility with potential clients.
Whether you run a single-agent site or manage a large agency with multiple team members, keeping agent profiles complete and up-to-date is key to presenting a professional image and improving client engagement.
