Agent Cities

Agent Cities in Houzez let you associate agents with specific locations. This makes it easier for visitors to find agents who operate in a particular city or region, improving search relevance and user experience.

For example, you might add:

• New York
• Los Angeles
• Miami
• Chicago

How to Add a New Agent City

1. In the WordPress admin menu, go to Houzez → Agents.
2. Click on the Cities tab at the top of the page.
3. Fill in the city details:
   • Name – The city name as it will appear on your site.
   • Slug – The URL-friendly version of the city name (optional; auto-generated if left blank).
   • Parent Category – Use this if you want to group cities under a broader area (e.g., California → Los Angeles).
   • Description – (Optional) Add a short description for the city.
4. Click Add New City to save.

Managing Agent Cities

• You can edit or delete cities from the list on the right-hand side of the screen.
• Cities can be assigned to agents when creating or editing an agent profile.
• They can also be used for front-end filtering if your site's search form supports location-based search.

Notes:

• Adding cities is optional, but it's useful for large teams or websites covering multiple locations.
• Use clear and recognizable names to help visitors quickly find the right agents in their preferred area.
