The Taxonomies Grids Carousel widget allows you to display property taxonomies (such as Types, Status, Labels, Country, City, State, or Area) in a sliding carousel format. This widget is ideal when you want to showcase multiple categories dynamically without taking up too much page space.
How to Add the "Taxonomies Grids Carousel" Widget
- Open the Elementor editor on the page where you want to add the widget.
- In the left sidebar, search for Taxonomies Grids Carousel.
- Drag and drop it into your desired section.
Configuration Options
Content Tab
- Choose Layout – Select the card layout style (v1, v2, etc.).
- Image Size – Define the image size variation used in the cards.
- Choose Taxonomy – Select which taxonomy to display: Types, Status, Labels, Country, State, City, or Area.
- Type – Pick a specific taxonomy term or leave empty to display all.
- Show Child – Toggle to include child terms in the display.
- Hide Empty – Hide taxonomy terms with no associated properties.
- Hide Count – Option to hide the property count displayed under the term name.
- Order By – Choose sorting criteria (Name, ID, Count, etc.).
- Order – Define order direction (ASC or DESC).
- Number of Items to Show – Limit the number of taxonomy terms displayed.
Carousel Settings
- Slides to Show – Number of cards visible per slide.
- Slides to Scroll – Number of cards that move per scroll/slide action.
- Infinite Scroll – Enable looping of the carousel.
- Auto Play – Enable automatic sliding.
- Auto Play Speed – Define speed in milliseconds (default: 3000).
- Next/Prev Navigation – Show or hide navigation arrows.
- Dots Nav – Show or hide pagination dots.
Style Tab
- Title Typography – Customize font style for taxonomy titles.
- Count Typography – Set typography for the property count.
- Title Color – Define text color for taxonomy titles.
- Count Color – Define text color for property count.
- Background Color – Customize the background color of each card.
- Gap Bottom / Gap Right – Adjust spacing between cards.
- Border Type – Choose border style for cards.
- Box Radius – Apply rounded corners to the card container.
- Image Radius – Control border radius for the card image.
- Image Padding – Add spacing inside the image container.
- Shadow – Add box shadows (normal and hover states).
Next/Prev Buttons
- Normal/Hover States – Customize background color, text color, and border color for navigation arrows.

- Use this widget when you want a dynamic, space-saving display of categories.
- Avoid setting too many slides per view on mobile to ensure readability.
- If autoplay is enabled, choose a reasonable speed (e.g., 3000–5000 ms) to avoid overwhelming users.
- For SEO and UX, make sure taxonomy images are optimized and consistent in size.
