Advanced Search (General Elements)

The Advanced Search widget allows you to display a property search form anywhere on your site using Elementor. It is ideal for providing quick access to property search filters on landing pages, blog posts, or any custom layout.

Note: This search form inherits all field types, order, and logic from the settings defined in Theme Options → Search → Header Search.

How to Add the "Advanced Search" Widget

1. Open the page you want to edit with Elementor.
2. In the Elementor panel, search for Advanced Search.
3. Drag and drop the widget into your desired section.
4. Customize the options in the Content and Style tabs.
5. Save or update the page to apply the changes.

Configuration Options

Content Tab

• Title – Optional heading displayed above the search form.

Style Tab

Form

• Padding – Controls the inner spacing of the entire search form.
• Background Color – Sets the background color for the form container.
• Border Type – Choose the border style (e.g., solid, dashed, none).
• Radius – Adjusts the corner roundness.
• Box Shadow – Adds depth with shadow effects.

Field

• Text Color – Sets the text color inside input fields.
• Typography – Font style, size, and weight for field text.
• Background Color – Color for the field background.
• Border Type – Style of the field borders.
• Border Radius – Adjusts the field corner roundness.

Button

• Normal / Hover – Customize background color, text color, and typography for both normal and hover states.
• Border Type – Style of the button border.
• Border Radius – Adjusts the corner roundness of the button.
• Text Padding – Controls spacing inside the button.

Best Practices

• Always configure your main search fields in Theme Options → Search → Header Search, as the Advanced Search widget will mirror these settings.
• Use it on key pages such as the homepage, property listings, and landing pages for better user engagement.
• Keep the number of fields minimal for faster search interactions.
• Ensure good color contrast between the form and background for accessibility.
