Agent/Agency Verification Badge

In Houzez, site administrators can mark agents and agencies as verified by assigning a verification badge to their profile. This badge helps build trust with visitors by confirming that the agent or agency has been authenticated by the site owner or admin.

How the Verification Badge Works

• The badge appears next to the agent or agency's name on their profile page and in listing cards where their information is displayed.
• Verification is a manual process handled by the site administrator — agents and agencies cannot assign the badge themselves.
• The badge is purely visual and does not affect permissions or functionality.

Steps to Verify an Agent or Agency

Step 1 – Go to the Profile

1. For agents: Navigate to Houzez → Agents in the WordPress admin.
2. For agencies: Navigate to Houzez → Agencies.

Step 2 – Edit the Profile
Click Edit under the profile you want to verify.

Step 3 – Enable the Verification Badge
In the profile edit screen, look for the Verification Badge option (if available in your theme version).

• Toggle the badge to Enabled or check the Verified box.

Step 4 – Save Changes
Click Update to save. The badge will now display on the front end.

Notes:

• The verification badge option is available only if enabled in your Houzez version. If you don't see the setting, check your theme changelog or contact support to confirm availability.
• You can remove the badge at any time by disabling it in the same profile edit screen.
