Map Style

he Map Style settings in Houzez allow you to customize the appearance of your maps to better match your website's branding and design. You can apply styling options for Google Maps and Mapbox independently.

To access this panel, go to:
Theme Options → Map Settings → Map Style

Google Cloud Map ID

If you are using Google Maps, you can define a custom map style by creating a Map ID in the Google Cloud Console.

• After setting up a map style in your Google project, copy the Map ID (e.g., 12345ab67c890de1f) and paste it into this field.
• This will override the default Google Maps appearance on your website.

Mapbox Style

If you are using Mapbox, you can choose a pre-defined style or create your own custom style.

Pre-defined Mapbox styles include:

• Streets
• Outdoors
• Light
• Dark
• Satellite
• Satellite Streets
• Custom Style URL (to use your own)

Instructions for Custom Mapbox Style URL:

1. Visit Mapbox Studio.
2. Create or edit a style.
3. Click Share in the top-right corner.
4. Copy the Style URL.
5. In Houzez, select Custom Style URL from the dropdown.
6. Paste the URL in the field provided.

This flexibility allows you to fully align the map visuals with your brand identity.
