What is Walk Score?
Walk Score is a metric developed by Redfin that measures the walkability of a location on a scale from 0 to 100. It calculates how easy it is to run daily errands without a car, based on proximity to essential amenities like grocery stores, schools, restaurants, parks, and more.
- 0–24: Car-Dependent (Almost all errands require a car)
- 25–49: Car-Dependent (Most errands require a car)
- 50–69: Somewhat Walkable (Some errands can be accomplished on foot)
- 70–89: Very Walkable (Most errands can be accomplished on foot)
- 90–100: Walker's Paradise (Daily errands do not require a car)
Walk Score data is available only for properties located in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
