The Overview Section allows you to display key property facts at a glance—such as property type, number of bedrooms and bathrooms, area size, and more—within a compact summary box on the property detail page.
From this panel, you can drag and drop which data points are shown (enabled) and which are hidden (disabled), ensuring the most relevant information appears to your visitors first. You can also customize the number of columns displayed in a row and adjust the height of the section when using the V2 layout.
Overview Section – Backend Settings Explained
These settings can be accessed under: Houzez → Theme Options → Property Detail → Overview Section
This panel allows you to configure the content and layout of the Overview box shown on individual property pages.
Property ID Toggle
At the top, you can choose whether or not to display the Property ID in the header of the overview box.
- Show: Displays the ID.
- Hide: Hides the ID from users.
Overview Data Composer
This area lets you customize what data appears in the overview box. You can:
- Drag items between the "enabled" and "disabled" columns to control which property fields are visible.
- For example:
- "Property Type," "Bedrooms," and "Area Size" are enabled → these will show on the frontend.
- "Year Built," "Rooms," and others under "disabled" will be hidden.
Overview Section Columns in a Row
Here you can set how many data items appear side-by-side in each row.
Example values:
- 3 Columns = 3 icons per row
- 6 Columns = up to 6 smaller icons per row
This setting helps you control the spacing and visual balance of the layout.
Overview V2 Height
If you're using the Overview V2 layout, you can define a specific height (in pixels) for the section.
Useful to ensure consistent visual proportions across properties with different amounts of data.
