The Property Detail page in Houzez is divided into two main sections that define its overall structure and appearance: the Property Banner (top area) and the Property Content Layout (main body). Each section includes customization options to tailor the look and feel of your listing pages.
These settings can be accessed under: Theme Options → Property Detail
By combining the right banner and content layout, you can fully control how your individual property pages appear to your users.
Property Banner
This is the top section of the Property Detail page, where the main image, map view, or other media content is displayed. You can choose from several banner layout styles, depending on the design you want for your listings.
Property Banner Active Tab
This setting allows you to select which tab should be shown first at the top of the property detail page. The available tabs are:
- Image/Gallery
- Map View
- Street View
- Video
Important: The tab you select here must also be enabled in the Media Tabs Manager below. If the tab is not enabled, the selection will have no effect.
For example, if you want the page to show the property map first, you must:
- Set Map View as the active tab.
- Ensure that Map View is in the "enabled" column of the Media Tabs Manager.
Media Tabs Manager
This section lets you control which media tabs appear in the Property Banner section. You can enable or disable specific media tabs by dragging them between the two columns:
- Enabled – Tabs placed here will be displayed at the top of the property detail page.
- Disabled – Tabs placed here will not be visible to users.
Available tabs:
- Image/Gallery – Show the property's image slider or main image.
- Map View – Show the location of the property on a map.
- Street View – Embed Google Street View of the property.
- 360° Virtual Tour – Display a virtual tour (disabled by default).
- Video – Show a property video (disabled by default).
You can freely drag and reorder these tabs based on your priorities or content availability.
Tip: For the best user experience, only enable tabs for which you've added content (e.g. don't enable "360° Virtual Tour" if you haven't added one).
Property Content Layout
This controls how the content beneath the banner is structured. The layout options are:
- Default – View an example
- Tabs – View an example
- Tabs Vertical – View an example
- Luxury Homes – View an example
- Minimal - View an example
- Boxed - View an example
You can preview each style by clicking "View an example" in the settings panel.
Optional: Full Width Content
You can choose whether to display the property content in full-width mode (no sidebar) using the Full Width Property Content Layout toggle.
Layout Manager
This tool allows you to customize the sections displayed on the property detail page when using the Default content layout. You can drag and drop elements to reorder them, enable or disable specific modules, and adjust the structure to match your site's design and content needs. It's a quick and flexible way to build the ideal layout for your property pages.
Default Content Layout Manager
The interface is based on a drag-and-drop system. On the left, you'll find the enabled sections — these are currently active and visible on the property detail page. On the right are the disabled sections — these are hidden but can be re-enabled at any time by dragging them over.
These settings can be accessed under: Houzez → Theme Options → Property Detail → Layout Manager - Default
You can use this tool to:
- Reorder content sections such as Overview, Description, Features, Floor Plans, Video, Virtual Tour, Walkscore, Mortgage Calculator, etc.
- Enable or disable optional modules like Energy Class, Multi Unit Listings, Schedule a Tour, Availability Calendar, or Adsense Spaces.
Section Gallery Options
At the bottom of the page, two options control how gallery sections are displayed:
- Section Gallery Number of Visible Images: Set the number of images to show in the gallery.
- Section Gallery Images in a Row: Define how many images are shown per row (e.g., 3 for a 3-column layout).
This tool is ideal for tailoring the property layout structure to better match your site's content needs and user experience.
Tabs Content Layout Manager
This layout manager is used when the "Tabs" or "Vertical Tabs" option is selected in the Property Content Layout settings. It allows you to organize the content sections that appear as tabs on the property detail page. You can drag and drop the available sections to enable or disable them, and use toggles to include additional tools like mortgage calculator, contact form, or sub listings.
These settings can be accessed under: Houzez → Theme Options → Property Detail → Layout Manager - Tabs
Luxury Homes - Layout Manager
This layout manager is used when the “Luxury Homes” layout is selected in the Property Content Layout settings. It allows you to customize the structure and content of luxury property detail pages by dragging and dropping the sections you want to enable or disable. You can also control the number of visible images and how many are displayed per row in the gallery.
These settings can be accessed under: Houzez → Theme Options → Property Detail → Layout Manager - Luxury Homes
