Section Availability Calendar (Property Detail Page)

The Section Availability Calendar widget allows you to display a booking or availability calendar directly on the property detail page. This is especially useful for short-term rentals, vacation homes, or any property where availability dates need to be shown to potential clients.  Note: This section requires the WP Booking Calendar plugin to be installed and connected: https://wpbookingcalendar.com/. Please note that the plugin is not included with the Houzez theme and must be purchased separately.

How to Add the "Section Availability Calendar" Widget

1. Open the property detail template with Elementor.
2. From the Houzez Elements panel, drag and drop the Section Availability Calendar widget into your layout.
3. Place it where you want the calendar to appear on the property detail page.

Configuration Options

Content Tab

• Section Header: Toggle ON/OFF to display or hide the section header.
• Section Title: Enter a custom title for the section (e.g., Availability Calendar).

Style Tab

• Section Style
  • Background Type: Set a background color or image.
  • Border Type & Color: Define borders for the section.
  • Margin & Padding: Adjust spacing around and inside the section.
  • Box Radius: Apply rounded corners to the section container.

• Content Style
  • Section Title Color: Customize the color of the title text.
  • Typography: Define font, size, weight, and style for the title.

Best Practices

• Always ensure that a booking calendar plugin is installed and properly configured, as this widget only displays the calendar provided by that plugin.
• Use clear and descriptive section titles, such as Check Availability or Booking Calendar.
• Keep the design consistent with the rest of the property page by adjusting typography and colors in the Style tab.
• Place the Availability Calendar near other booking-related elements (e.g., Contact Form or Schedule a Tour section) to create a smooth user flow.

Notes

• This widget does not include a calendar by default. A third-party booking plugin must be integrated to display actual availability.
• Not suitable for listings without date-based availability (e.g., properties for sale only).
