The Sub Listings section widget allows you to display related or child listings associated with a main property. This feature is particularly useful when a property includes multiple units (such as apartments within a building, villas in a compound, or offices in a complex). It helps present hierarchical listings in an organized way for better user experience.
How to Add the "Section Sub Listings" Widget
- Open your Property Detail template in Elementor.
- From the widget panel, drag and drop the Section Sub Listings widget into your desired section of the page.
- The sub listings will automatically load based on the data defined for the property.
Configuration Options
Content Tab
- Section Header: Toggle ON/OFF to display or hide the section header.
- Section Title: Add a custom title for the section (e.g., "Available Units", "Other Offices in This Building").
Style Tab
- Hide Title Border: Enable to remove the border under the section title.
- Border Color: Choose the color for the section border.
- Typography: Adjust font type, size, and weight for the section title.
- Alignment: Align the section title to the left, center, or right.
- Margin & Padding Controls: Set spacing above or below the section title for layout adjustments.
Best Practices
- Use Sub Listings when a property contains multiple rentable or sellable units under the same main property.
- Keep section titles clear and descriptive (e.g., "Available Apartments in This Building").
- Ensure that sub listings are connected correctly in the property backend to avoid empty sections.
- Avoid overusing sub listings unless necessary—this widget is best for multi-unit or complex properties.
Notes & Limitations
- Sub Listings must be defined in the property backend; otherwise, this section will appear empty.
- This widget is intended for properties with hierarchical relationships (parent/child listings).
- Always test sub listings display with multiple property examples to ensure consistent layout.
