Section Similar Listings (Property Detail Page)

The Section Similar Listings widget displays properties that are similar to the one being viewed. It helps users explore comparable listings, increasing engagement and cross-property discovery. This feature is useful to keep visitors browsing your site and considering multiple options.

How to Add the "Section Similar Listings" Widget

1. Open the Property Detail Page template in Elementor.
2. From the Houzez Elements panel, drag and drop the Similar Listings widget into your desired section.
3. The widget will automatically display similar properties based on criteria you define.

Configuration Options

Content Tab

• Section Header: Enable or disable the section header.
• Section Title: Add a custom title for the section (e.g., "Similar Listings").
• Similar Properties Criteria: Choose criteria such as Property Type, Status, Location, or Price Range to determine which listings will be displayed.
• Listings Layout: Select from multiple layout styles (e.g., List View v1, v2, or Grid).
• Default Order: Choose how listings should be sorted (e.g., New to Old, Price High to Low, Random).
• Limit: Set the maximum number of properties to display.

• Show/Hide Data: Toggle options such as description, compare button, favorite button, preview button, featured label, status, labels, details button, and date/agent information.

Style Tab

• Section Style: Adjust background type, border, padding, and margins.
• Typography: Customize font, size, and weight for property title, address, price, labels, and meta information.
• Spaces & Sizes: Fine-tune spacing between elements such as titles, addresses, icons, and content padding.
• Card Box: Configure box background, border radius, shadow, and padding for property cards.
• Image Radius: Adjust the roundness of property images.
• Colors: Customize colors for prices, titles, addresses, icons, labels, and background.
• Button: Style the "Details" button, including normal/hover text color, background color, and border color.

Best Practices

• Use consistent criteria (e.g., Property Type + Location) to ensure that suggested listings are relevant.
• Limit the number of displayed properties (4–6) to keep the section clean and easy to scan.
• Style the section to match the rest of your property detail page for a cohesive design.
• Enable "Favorite" and "Compare" buttons to increase user interaction and save potential leads.

Notes & Limitations

• Similar listings require properly filled property metadata to work effectively.
• Ensure that your properties share common attributes (e.g., type, location) for the widget to generate accurate results.
• If no properties match the set criteria, the section may not display any results.
