Section Walkscore (Property Detail Page)

The Section Walkscore widget allows you to display the Walkscore information of a property directly on the property detail page. Walkscore helps evaluate how walkable a property's location is, including access to public transportation and nearby amenities. This section is particularly useful for urban listings where accessibility is a key selling point.

Note: This widget requires the Walkscore API key to be added in Theme Options → Property Details → Walkscore before it can function properly.

How to Add the "Section Walkscore" Widget

1. In the WordPress admin dashboard, navigate to the Property Detail Page Builder with Elementor.
2. From the Elementor sidebar, search for Section Walkscore.
3. Drag and drop the widget into your desired location on the property detail layout.
4. Once placed, the widget will pull Walkscore data automatically (after API configuration).

Configuration Options

Content Tab

• Section Header: Toggle On/Off to show or hide the header section.
• Section Title: Enter a custom title for the section (e.g., "Walkability Score").
• API Reminder: A reminder message will appear if the Walkscore API key has not been added.

Style Tab

• Section Style:
  • Background Type: Add a color or image background to the Walkscore section.
  • Border Type & Color: Customize the border style and color.
  • Margin & Padding: Adjust spacing around the section and content.
  • Box Radius: Add rounded corners to the section box.
• Content Style:
  • Section Title: Customize typography and color of the section title.

Best Practices

• Always ensure that the Walkscore API key is properly configured in Theme Options before using this widget.
• Use a clear and descriptive section title like "Neighborhood Walkscore" so users understand the purpose immediately.
• Position this section near the Map or Nearby Places (Yelp) widget to provide complete location insights.

Notes

• Without the API key, the Walkscore will not display any results.
• Data accuracy depends on the Walkscore API.
• Recommended to combine this widget with Map and Yelp Nearby Places for a complete neighborhood overview.
