The Section Open Street Map widget was designed to display the property's location using OpenStreetMap directly on the Property Detail Page. However, this widget is deprecated. You should now use the Section Map widget, which automatically adapts to the map provider (Google Maps or OpenStreetMap) defined in Theme Options.
How to Add the "Section Open Street Map" Widget
Note: Since this widget is deprecated, it is strongly recommended to replace it with Section Map.
- Open your Property Detail Page template in Elementor.
- Locate Section Open Street Map in the widget panel (not recommended for new setups).
- Drag and drop it into the desired section.
- Configure the map settings in the Content tab.
Configuration Options
Content Tab
- Pin or Circle: Select whether to display a single marker pin or highlight an area with a circle.
- Zoom: Set the initial zoom level of the map (higher values zoom in closer).
- Map Height (px): Define the map container height in pixels.
Style Tab
The styling options for this widget are minimal. For modern customization and full compatibility, use the Section Map widget instead.
Best Practices
- Do not use this widget in new templates. Always choose Section Map for better compatibility and future updates.
- If you have older templates using Section Open Street Map, consider migrating to Section Map.
- Ensure that property listings include accurate latitude and longitude so the map displays correctly.
Notes
- This widget is deprecated.
- Use the Section Map widget instead, as it integrates seamlessly with the map provider selected in Theme Options.
- Keeping this widget may cause compatibility issues in future updates.
