The Section Google Map widget was originally designed to display a property's location directly on a Google Map inside the Property Detail Page.
However, this widget is deprecated and replaced by the Section Map widget, which provides better compatibility and styling options.
How to Add the "Section Google Map" Widget
- Open your Property Detail Page template in Elementor.
- Locate the Section Google Map widget under the Houzez elements.
- Drag and drop it into your page layout where you want the property map to appear.
Note: This widget is deprecated. Please use the Section Map widget instead. The map will display according to the map system selected in Theme Options.
Configuration Options
Content Tab
- Pin or Circle: Choose how the location is displayed (Marker Pin or Circle).
-
Map Type: Select the type of map to display:
- Road Map
- Satellite
- Hybrid
- Terrain
- Zoom: Set the zoom level of the map.
- Style for Google Map: Add a custom style for the map using SnazzyMaps.
- Map Height (px): Adjust the height of the map container in pixels.
Style Tab
This widget has limited styling options, as most map appearance settings must be controlled via custom styles or SnazzyMaps integration.
Best Practices
- Use the Section Map widget instead, as this one is deprecated and may not be supported in future updates.
- If you continue using it, make sure the Google Maps API is correctly set up in Theme Options.
- Apply a consistent zoom level across all listings for a uniform user experience.
- Customize the design via SnazzyMaps for better branding and style matching.
Notes
- Deprecated widget: future compatibility is not guaranteed.
- For new projects, always prefer the Section Map widget.
