Language Switcher (Header and Footer)

The Language Switcher widget allows users to switch between different languages on your website. It integrates with translation plugins like Polylang or WPML, making it an essential tool for creating multilingual real estate websites.
Please note: this widget requires Polylang or WPML to be installed and configured.

How to Add the "Language Switcher" Widget

1. Open your header or footer template in Elementor.
2. In the Elementor widget panel, search for Language Switcher.
3. Drag and drop the widget into the desired location in your layout.
4. Make sure you have Polylang or WPML activated, otherwise the switcher will not function.

Configuration Options

Content Tab

• Vertical Padding: Adjust vertical spacing for the switcher.
• Horizontal Padding: Adjust horizontal spacing for the switcher.
• Typography: Define the font settings for the language text.
• Color: Set the text color.
• Color :hover: Set the hover color for language options.

Best Practices

• Always ensure Polylang or WPML is installed and configured before using this widget.
• Place the Language Switcher in the top bar or header for maximum visibility.
• Keep padding and alignment consistent with other header elements.
• Use clear contrast for hover colors so users can easily see which option is active.

Notes

• This widget does not work as a standalone feature — it depends on Polylang or WPML.
