The Currency Switcher widget allows users to change the currency displayed across your website. This is especially useful for international visitors who want to view property prices in their preferred currency. Please note that this feature must first be enabled under Theme Options → Top Bar → Currency Switcher before the widget can be displayed.
How to Add the "Currency Switcher" Widget
- Open your page in Elementor.
- From the Elementor sidebar, search for Currency Switcher.
- Drag and drop the widget into the desired section of your header or footer.
- Make sure the Currency Switcher is enabled in the Theme Options for it to function correctly.
Configuration Options
Content Tab
- Vertical Padding: Adjusts the top and bottom spacing of the currency switcher.
- Horizontal Padding: Adjusts the left and right spacing.
Style Tab
- Typography: Customize the font style for the currency text.
- Color (Normal / Hover): Define the text color for both normal and hover states.
- Background Color: Set the background for the currency dropdown.
- Dropdown Options: Adjust dropdown spacing, background, border, and typography.
Best Practices
- Always enable the Currency Switcher from Theme Options → Top Bar → Currency Switcher before adding the widget.
- Place the Currency Switcher in a highly visible area such as the top bar or main header for easy access.
- Ensure consistent styling (colors, typography) with the rest of your website's design.
- Keep padding balanced so the dropdown does not overlap with other header elements.
Notes
- The Currency Switcher only affects the displayed prices and does not change the base currency used in transactions.
- If the switcher does not appear, confirm that it is enabled in Theme Options.
- Test different devices to ensure proper alignment and dropdown visibility.
