The Custom Carousel widget allows you to display a series of slides with text, images, and buttons in a sliding format. It's useful for showcasing featured content, promotions, or any information that benefits from a rotating presentation.
How to Add the "Custom Carousel" Widget
- In Elementor, open the page where you want to add the carousel.
- From the widget panel, search for Custom Carousel.
- Drag and drop it into your desired section.
A default carousel with sample slides will appear.
Configuration Options
Content Tab
- Title: Set a title for the carousel.
- Tagline: Optional subtitle below the main title.
- Slides:
- Title: Heading for each slide.
- Content: Add descriptive text.
- Image: Upload or select an image for the slide.
- More Button: Enable or disable a button.
- Read More Text: Customize button label.
- Read More Link: Add a link for the button.
- Add Item: Add new slides.
- Nav Position: Choose navigation arrows position (e.g., top, bottom).
- Carousel Settings:
- Slides To Show: Number of slides visible at once.
- Slides To Scroll: Number of slides to move per transition.
- Infinite Scroll: Enable continuous looping.
- Auto Play: Enable automatic slide rotation.
- Auto Play Speed: Set interval in milliseconds.
- Next/Prev Navigation: Show/hide navigation arrows.
- Dots Nav: Enable navigation dots below the carousel.
Style Tab
- Carousel Title: Control typography, text stroke, and colors for the title and tagline.
- Slides: Adjust background color, spacing, border, padding, and radius.
- Image: Set width, max width, height, object fit, opacity, and filters.
- Content: Control padding, text color, typography, and text stroke for slide content.
- Read More Button: Customize button typography, colors, background, border, padding, shadow, and hover effects.
- Navigation Buttons: Style arrows with custom colors, background, border, and hover effects.
Best Practices
- Keep slides concise: too much text can overwhelm the layout.
- Use consistent image sizes for a clean, professional look.
- Enable autoplay with caution — make sure it's not too fast.
- Always provide meaningful links for buttons if enabled.
- Ensure navigation arrows and dots are visible against your background.
