Empty Space (General Elements)

The Empty Space widget, found under General Elements, is used to add vertical spacing between sections or elements in your layout. This is useful for improving visual separation, preventing clutter, and enhancing readability across your pages. It's especially helpful when designing with Elementor, where precise control over spacing can help create a clean, balanced design.

How to Add the Empty Space Widget

1. Navigate to Pages → Add New or edit an existing page.
2. Click Edit with Elementor.
3. In the Elementor widget panel, search for Empty Space.
4. Drag and drop the widget into the desired location on your page.

Configuration Options

Content Tab

• Space – Controls the height of the empty space in pixels.
  • Adjust using the slider or type a specific value.
  • Responsive controls are available to set different spacing for desktop, tablet, and mobile.

Advanced Tab

• Offers additional margin, padding, and responsive settings if you need more control.

Best Practices & Notes

• Use Empty Space to separate content logically — avoid adding too much space, which can make pages feel disconnected.
• For consistent spacing across the site, define a standard set of pixel values (e.g., 20px for small gaps, 50px for large gaps).
• You can achieve similar results with Elementor's built-in padding/margin options, but the Empty Space widget is faster for quick adjustments.
