MailChimp API Setup

Homey is integrated with MailChimp so that you can collect email addresses with a form that you can place as a widget on your site.

How to get MailChimp API

• Log in to your MailChimp account http://login.mailchimp.com
• Navigate to List http://us3.admin.mailchimp.com/lists/ and create a new list as displayed in the image below.

• Navigate to Profile > Account > Extras > API Keys http://us3.admin.mailchimp.com/account/api/

• Click on Create a Key

• Copy the API key code here on your website > MailChimp for Wp > MailChimp

 

Navigate to MailChimp for WP > Forms > Settings and check the list you want to assign to the form

 

Customize the form

Navigate to MailChimp for WP > Forms and create your form using the tools provided by the MailChimp plugin.
