How to create mega menu

With Houzez, you can build powerful and visually rich mega menus using the built-in Header & Footer Builder. Follow the steps below to create and assign your own mega menu using Elementor.

Accessing the Mega Menu Builder:

To get started:

• Go to your WordPress dashboard.
• In the left-hand menu, click on Houzez → Header & Footer Builder.
• Here you'll find existing templates or you can create a new one.

Create a New Mega Menu Layout

• On the Header & Footer Builder page, click Add New Post.
• In the post editor, enter a title for your menu layout.
• Switch to the Template Settings tab and select Mega Menu as the template type.
• Click Publish to save your layout.
• Then click Edit with Elementor to design your mega menu using any Elementor widgets

Once you’ve created and published your Mega Menu template, it’s time to design it visually:

• Click the Edit with Elementor button on your Mega Menu layout.
• Use Elementor’s drag-and-drop interface to add any widgets you like:
  For example, you can insert columns, headings, images, icons, buttons, contact forms, featured listings, or category links.
• Structure your content using Elementor’s layout tools (columns, spacers, sections).
• You can also use global widgets, saved sections, and Houzez-specific widgets if needed.
• When finished, click Update to save your layout.

Your Mega Menu can be as simple or complex as you want—ranging from a clean two-column layout to a full-width interactive panel with call-to-action buttons, property previews, or even videos.

Assign the Mega Menu to a Navigation Item

Once your Mega Menu layout is ready:

• • Go to Appearance → Menus.
  • Select the menu item you want to assign the mega menu to (e.g., "Home").
  • Under Menu Item Options, expand the dropdown.
  • Choose the Design as Full Width (if desired).
  • Then, under Elementor Template, select the Mega Menu layout you created.
  • Save the menu.
