How to download files

You can install Homey in two ways: through WordPress Installation or via FTP Installation. But first, you need to download the Homey files from your ThemeForest account.

Download the files from Themeforest

If you’ve purchased our theme at Themeforest, you’ll need to download the theme file before you try and install it. Simply log into your account, go to your downloads, and locate your theme. Click on the download button and select the “Installable WordPress file only”. This will download the zip file for your theme.

Locate The File to Upload

1. On your local computer extract, the ZIP folder downloaded from ThemeForest.
2. After extracting files you will open the folder called “Homey_Main_v1.0” where you will find more folders (child-theme, documentation, licensing)
3. Locate the homey_v1.0.zip in the Homey_Main_v1. folder. This is the file you have to upload and install.
